With economy developing, Social media offers new tools for accelerating citizen participation and economic and social progress. Nowadays, Social media has become a dispensable part of not just our private lives, but also our careers. For example, it helps millions of businessmen discover the online markets as well as connecting with customers, shareholders, business partners and so on. Anyway, we have all witnessed that social media have exerted a profound influence on every aspects of our life.

However, every coin has two sides, so as the social media. In the first place, it's not unusual for a person to have over 200 Wechat friends or follow over 1,000 Weibo accounts. With so many accounts to follow and so many people posting new content, we are overloaded by excessive information. Besides, Many social media platforms still get hacked from time to time despite having good security measures in place. As a result, it is no wonder that some people argue their private information is “naked” on the Internet.

From my point of view, I think that the current situation is acceptable in the long term. Even thought there are a lot of issues to be tackled on social media, I believe in the decade to come, such problems are to change.
