With the development of internationalization and globalization, international exchange has become an inevitable trend. If college students have a strong desire to keep up with the times, I harbor that participating in international exchange programs will be a good choice to some extent. The first reason flashing in my mind is that college students will enhance mutual understanding among different people, promote mutual communication between different cultures, broaden students' international horizons, cultivate students' cross-cultural literacy, and deepen their understanding of volunteer activities. Meanwhile, what we cannot ignore is the fact that independence is one of the most essential qualities and virtues to any college students. As a result, there is no doubt that college students who are willing to take part in the international exchange programs will cultivate their independence and the ability of solve problems independently. In a word, college students should be encouraged to take part in the international exchange programs so that they can enrich their life, broaden their horizon, expand the scope of knowledge and finally create a bright and promising future.

Taking into consideration all the factors mentioned above, it is imperative that the university is supposed to tutor the college students to realize the significance of international exchange programs.
