(誤)His family is fond of music.

(正)His family are fond of music.(集合名詞family在本句是指全家人，是復數，謂語動詞用復數。)

4、中文：我的朋友們來了。

(誤)Here comes my friends.

(正)Here come my friends.(主語my friends是復數，謂語動詞用復數，本句的一般語序是My friends come here.。)

5、中文：咖啡加牛奶是她最喜歡的飲料。

(誤)Coffee and milk are her favourite drink.

(正)Coffee and milk is her favourite drink.(coffee and milk習慣上被視為一個整體，是單數，謂語動詞用單數。)

6、中文：他們每個人有一本字典。

(誤)They each has a dictionary.

(正)They each have a dictionary.(主語they是復數，謂語動詞用復數，each是修飾語。)

(誤)His trousers is new.

(正)His trousers are new.(主語trousers是復數，謂語動詞用復數。)

(誤)There is some novels on the table.
