Why do you change your major?

I show keen interest in the economics, finance in particular, even though my major is philosophy. Let me tell you my reasons for changing my major.

Philosophy is too abstract as for me, full of terms, far from the real world. I don’t mean it is useless. But finance studies seem more challenging and promising for my future career. I plan to start my work in a financial firm and work as a financial analyst so that I can try my best to help the clients.

That’s why I made up my mind to change my major and applied for this department.
